Although it is true that we already have the right state of mind, it is rather difficult to realize. Most of us live under a delusion. This false self covers our true nature.
To take the Zen posture is the conclusion of Buddhism. We may not feel that way at first, but after long hard practice we discover that, like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, we are secretly already home.
