Our personal history emerges from the present moment. The retelling of own stories will reveal whether or not we were sleepwalking through life or fully aware of the adventure.
“You do not need to know precisely what is happening, or exactly
where it is all going. What you need is to recognize the
possibilities and challenges offered by the present moment, and to
embrace them with courage, faith and hope.” ― Thomas Merton

Battering Ram
Marketers use the television as a battering ram in order to beat down the door to the subconscious mind. Once they gain access, they undermine the superego and exploit the hedonistic forces of the id for profit and gain.
The result is an inner emptiness and a spiritual desolation that will turn the human psyche into a devil's playground.
“The mind is its own place, and in itself can make a heaven of hell, a hell of heaven..”
